The Fundação de Assistência Médica Internacional is the entity responsible for processing personal data, which will be treated confidentially and used exclusively for the purpose of publicizing the Foundation’s projects, events, campaigns and actions (Friends of AMI, Occasional Donor, First Aid Course, Aventura Solidária, national and international volunteering, AMIarte, environmental projects and campaigns, solidarity products and merchandising). In this context, it may be transmitted to third parties, namely DGERT, airlines, travel agencies, embassies, insurance companies, Foundation partners with which national or international protocols were signed, as well as being transmitted internally, to the institution’s departments, delegations and centres.
The entity responsible for the processing of your personal data uses e-mail marketing service, as well as billing and management software, so your data can also be stored outside the servers of the Fundação de Assistência Médica Internacional, which are located in the European Union.
In accordance with the applicable legislation, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, the data subject is guaranteed the right of access, rectification, alteration, deletion and portability of his or her personal data, upon written request to the responsible entity, sent by registered mail to Rua José do Patrocínio, n. º 49, 1959-003 Lisboa or by e-mail to [email protected]. The data subject may also submit a complaint to the CNPD or another national control authority.
It is also guaranteed to the data subject, within the scope of the applicable legislation, the right to withdraw their consent at any time — this withdrawal of consent does not compromise the lawfulness of the processing made based on the consent previously given.
The Fundação de Assistência Médica Internacional adopts standards and security measures for the protection of personal data by installing in its files all technical measures necessary to guarantee the confidentiality of the data, to prevent its loss, alterations and improper access, as well as to ensure the security of files on paper.
Your personal data will be kept for a period of 12 years. At the end of this period the data will be deleted unless otherwise stated, including by means of new consent. Such data may be stored for the purpose of scientific or historical research or for statistical purposes, without any time limit, provided that they are anonymised, pseudonymized or encrypted in such a way as to no longer cover the nature of personal data for the purposes of the law.
