Beneficiaries: Directly benefits 8131 students (4512 boys and 3619 girls), 70 Teachers / Animators and, indirectly, about 35 thousand people.

Improvement of water and sanitation conditions in schools and other education centers, ensuring access to safe drinking water.

Lack of water is a very serious problem in northern Mozambique; Lack of water causes children, mostly girls, to stop going to school to devote themselves to transporting water to the household.

The main objective of this project is the improvement of water and sanitation conditions through the installation of 12 Rainwater Utilization Systems (SAAP) in primary schools, community schools, a children’s activity center and a day center.
